Eeshha Hair Defense Conditioning Shampoo Review

When it comes to 'Complete Body Care', not everybody is found using body butters, shower gels, body mists, hair masks etc. on regular basis. But the one thing that nobody can escape from using is a 'shampoo'. And choosing the right kind of shampoo that actually renders you the expected result is a task indeed.

I personally don't stick to one particular shampoo all the time and keep trying the ones which claim to have effective ingredients. In the course of such practice, I find few that don't work for me at all, yet some of them suit my scalp and my hair just the way I want them to be.

So today I am reviewing one of the hair shampoo infused with gentleness and mildness of Soya and Almond Protein. I am talking about Eeshha Hair Defense Conditioning Shampoo.

Product Claims: The natural conditioning formula removes dirt and residue to retain your hair's natural shine and give you soft and smooth hair. Almond and Soya protein gives strength to hair root. The premium formula improves look, appearance and manageability of the hair. Soya and Almond protein has high content of protein useful for dry and damaged hair.

Directions of Usage: Take 3-4 ml of liquid on your palm, spread evenly on your damp hair and massage gently for 1 minute. Rinse thoroughly with sufficient water. Use everyday for better results.
Packaging: The shampoo is bottled in a sturdy blue plastic container. The flip cap of the bottle is tight enough to make the bottle travel-friendly and the flattened shape of the bottle is also suitable to be carried easily.
Price: The Eeshha Hair Defense Conditioning Shampoo is priced at Rs. 165 for a net qty of 200 ml.
Shelf Life: 36 months after the date of manufacturing.
Ingredients: Soya protein, Almond Oil, Brahmi Extract, Reetha Powder Extract, Heena Powder Extract, Aloe Vera Extract etc.
My Experience: The shampoo is shiny deep orange in color and the consistency is neither too thick nor too runny. The appropriate consistency of the liquid spreads easily and evenly. The shampoo lathers decently and only few drops are sufficient for shorter hair. But for longer hair length like mine, I needed to use more than suggested quantity to generate enough lather for proper cleansing of my hair and the scalp underneath.
The sweet fragrance is a plus on the part of the formulation which is not overpowering.

The shampoo packaging recommends everyday usage but I have been using it on alternate days for almost 15 days. That means I have used it around 7-8 times till now and I feel its the time I can opine myself about the product.

The shampoo effectively cuts the grime n dirt from hair and cleanse the scalp. The frizz is controlled considerably and the hair feel manageable after head bath. My hair are straight and moderately silky, but tend to tangle during hair wash. The regular head bath with Eeshha Hair Defense Conditioning Shampoo has now made the job of detangling my hair more comfortable. As a result, the overall rate of hair fall has also gone down to certain extent. So I approve that the product justifies its claims for my hair.

Pros:
  • Pleasant smell.
  • Travel friendly packaging.
  • Cleanses the hair and scalp effectively.
  • Controls hair fall.
  • Makes hair soft & shinier.
  • Lather Decently.
  • Inexpensive.
  • Easy Availability. (can be purchased from their official website or from other online stores like Shopclues, Flipkart etc.)
Cons:
  • I needed to use somewhat extra quantity than mentioned (but as such it depends on the length of the hair)
Overall Opinion:
Eeshha Hair Defense Conditioning Shampoo is processed in a way that it can be used on everyday basis without causing dryness to scalp. I also found no need to apply leave-on hair serum on my hair as the frizz is under control. My deductions have been taken out without following a conditioner after head bath, so the results may slightly vary if you use conditioner too.

Hope you find the review useful.

(P.S. The packaging is available is new color theme now)

People who raise doubt in the minds of the people having to do with shampoo for natural hair. The curly hair products will be quite useful as well since there is a lot of confusion as to what people with hair that is not particularly straight will do. The natural hair weave is something that will make the hair look really natural. This is of course the duty of the company which is selling these products like the natural hair products.
